Join us at the roastery for a hands-on coffee tasting that helps you understand what’s really going on in your cup.
This class is run as a small group experience with a maximum of 10 participants, creating plenty of opportunity to taste, compare and ask questions. We also offer this class as a 1:1 or duet session if you’re after a more tailored experience.
Coffee is surprisingly complex — it contains more aromatic and flavour compounds than wine. In this session, we’ll show you how to taste coffee with purpose, recognise key flavours and aromas, and understand why different coffees taste the way they do.
You’ll be guided through professional tasting techniques using the Specialty Coffee Tasters’ Wheel, and explore how origin, processing, brewing method and extraction all shape flavour. You’ll taste a curated selection of coffees, build your own sensory profiles, and gain the confidence to describe what you’re tasting.
