Espresso and Milk texturing.
Barista Classes
This is a practical, hands-on course designed to help you make better coffee — whether you’re just starting out or looking to fine-tune your skills. Choose from 1:1, duet or remote sessions, with the option to learn using your own equipment. With plenty of time behind the machine, we’ll guide you through espresso extraction and milk texturing, explain barista terminology in plain English, show you how to read and dial in a recipe, and help you understand what to adjust when things don’t taste quite right. For the curious minds, we’ll also connect taste with science and introduce the use of a refractometer to measure Total Dissolved Solids (TDS).
The course is popular with coffee lovers, home baristas and those curious about working behind the machine. No formal barista training is required — just a genuine love of coffee.
Prerequisite: Must love coffee.

Smell, taste and evaluate coffee.
Coffee Tasting Class
Our coffee tasting classes are hands-on (taste buds on) and designed to help you understand what’s really going on in your cup. Available as 1:1 sessions or in a small group setting, you’ll taste, compare and ask questions as we explore how coffee’s flavours and aromas come together — and why different coffees taste the way they do.
Guided by professional tasting techniques, you’ll build confidence describing coffee without jargon or pretence. No prior experience is required — just curiosity and a love of coffee.
Prerequisite: Must love coffee.
