Adriana arrived in São Gonçalo do Sapucaí as an agronomist. Charisma, kindness and expertise are three traits that not only make Adriana a great agronomist but also endear her to the APAS Cooperative. She supports and consults local farmers to find new ways to enhance the quality and yield of their coffee crop and combat challenges such as draughts and pests in sustainable ways.
And of course, both coffee farmers and Adriana share the same passion for coffee which naturally bounds them together. Adriana recently decided to embrace the challenges of coffee growing and to become a specialty coffee producer herself. She acquired a small property in the region of Mantiqueira de Minas located in the Minas Gerais side of Serra da Mantiqueira, in the southern part of the state of Minas Gerais, at an altitude of 1350 metres.

For Adriana being a coffee farmers means much more than producing coffees: "I believe in the work of the cooperative and in the region's potential to produce outstanding specialty coffees. We not only produce wonderful coffees, we cultivate and nurture friendships, partnerships and good stories."
Adriana was one of the finalists of the Cup of Excellence 2018, the most prestigious competition and award for high quality coffees. Adriana achieved a cupping score of 87.76 for her yellow bourbon natural processed coffee.
We are proud to bring Adriana’s coffee to Australian shores exclusively to you.
